Answers to why some people claim they are not Christian

The Dark Side of Christianity

Secular Tactfulness

I understand some people wanting to be “tactful” but please don’t ever say that Jesus was a “great teacher” but not the “Son of God”. Jesus explicitly taught that He was the Son of God. If you believe this is … Continue reading

Bad Theology

People are leaving the church in droves. What’s the problem? The obvious answer is, of course, “Christians”. The public perception of the ‘typical’ Christian definitely needs a PR makeover. The other answer may not be so obvious: “Nonessential Doctrine”. I’m … Continue reading

Objection to Christianity #24: Being a Good Person Is All that Matters.

Objection to Christianity #7: If There Is a God, Why Does He Allow Evil?

First of all, most of us agree that there is Evil in the world. But far from disproving the existence of God, Evil proves unequivocally that God exists. There can be no Evil without an objective standard of Good to … Continue reading

Objection to Christianity #1: There Is No God

For those who say there is no God, I think the problem is of definition. There are pantheists who believe that God is synonymous with Nature. Spinoza and Einstein were among these. Let us suppose for the sake of argument … Continue reading
